The Arkansas Academy of Industrial Engineers holds a mock interview session each fall.  Students are able to register for mock interviews with actual employers so that they can hone their interviewing skills.  The interviewers are from companies that regularly recruit industrial engineers from the University of Arkansas as well as AAIE members.  The interviews are normally held in September before the University of Arkansas’ STEM Career Fair.  The goal is to help prepare students so that they present themselves in the best light possible during career fairs and job interviews. A few of the mock interview goals are to provide students assistance in the following:

• proper interview dressing
• providing the best verbal and non-verbal communication
• answering challenging interview questions
• answer any and all questions that students have about interviewing
